Red Rocks is a geologically formed, open-air amphitheater not duplicated anywhere in the world. With Mother Nature as the architect, the design of the Amphitheatre consists of two 300 foot monoliths (Ship Rock and Creation Rock) that provide a stunning setting for any performance. The dramatic sandstone monoliths serve as a history book of animal and plant life in the area for the past 250 million years.

Originally known as the Indian Concession House, the Trading Post is a great place to shop for unique Red Rocks souvenirs, apparel and historical memorabilia. The Trading Post is also the perfect place to start a walking tour of the park.

Located 1 hour south of the hotels in Manitou Springs is the Manitou Incline. Often referred to as simply "The Incline," this tourist cable car track turned heart-pounding workout is known for its rapid elevation gain and sweeping views of Manitou Springs. The trail gains nearly 2,000 feet of elevation over less than 1 mile. It's not for the faint of heart, but people from all walks (or climbs) of life have successfully conquered it.

A Few Local, Favorite Restaurants

Sierra: A Lone Tree restaurant and bar, serving fine food and delicious cocktails. Sierra’s menu consists of timeless American classics with a Southwestern influence. Beautiful, large-scale patio with scenic views.

Beau Jo's: Our favorite local pizza joint. If you want to make the drive to Evergreen, enjoy your pizza out on the patio overlooking Bear Creek. If you want to stay closer to the venue, order take-out at the new Lone Tree location. And don't forget to have some honey with your crust!

Little Man Ice Cream: One thing is for certain: Mallory and Ben love ice cream. Check out their favorite local ice cream place which sells ice cream out of a 28-foot-tall milk can!

Snooze: Whether you’re digging into pancakes in our dining room or sipping a mimosa on the patio, one thing is for certain: You can expect surprising, responsibly-sourced breakfast and brunch dishes seven days a week.

The Cow An Eatery: Planning to go visit Red Rocks Amphitheater for the day? Stop for brunch at The Cow, our favorite breakfast stop in the quaint town of Morrison.
